暖かい地域だけに育つ植物を
数ヶ月かけて乾燥させ仕立てて
一本一本編みこみました。

◇ Gettou (Shell Ginger) from Kumejima
The Gettou plant, which only grows in warm regions like Kumejima, is harvested and then dried and prepared over several months. Each piece is then hand-woven, strand by strand.

◇ Gentle Radiance of Natural Materials
The design is simple yet eye-catching. It beautifully complements skin that carries history and time. (Using the soft phrasing)

◇ Enjoyable Aging Process
Everything is hand-crafted, giving each piece its own unique character. The way it becomes more familiar with use is like interacting with a living thing.

◇ Skin-Friendly Materials
We use pesticide-free Gettou, utilizing the plant itself with minimal alteration, so no harmful substances are included. The metal fittings are made from hypoallergenic stainless steel.

◇ Precious and Limited Earth Resource
It takes approximately 3 years for the plants to grow from small seedlings to a harvestable size. We never forget that we are taking a life, so we harvest carefully and sparingly to ensure the plants are not depleted. This material preparation takes time.

The drying process takes over two months, and preparation for weaving requires extensive time. In this era, this kind of manufacturing—which is time-consuming and cannot be mass-produced—is certainly "inefficient."

But precisely because of this, we want to deliver the richness that comes from taking life from nature and investing such time and effort into our creations.
